Everyone has seen a digital influencer as a brand ambassador — but an influencer in the shape of a vagina? Now, that was something new. Cláudia’s “PPK” intentionally sparked a lot of controversy by speaking openly, and without taboos, about women’s intimate health. The influencer character was celebrated by many and also irritated some haters — who, ironically, helped her grow even more. The campaign was a success, and everyone wanted to know about Gillette Venus Intímia products. Some even said the skin felt as smooth as a carp — but that wasn’t claimed by the team (80% women), rather by one of the 2 million people reached through earned media. It’s no wonder the campaign became the greatest sales success in Gillette Venus’s history in Brazil and Latin America.
